Gordon Johnson, Jr


Gordon W. Johnson Jr., 57, of Holliston, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, May 8, 2012. Born in Chicago, he was the son of the late Gordon and Marjorie (Jensen) Johnson. He was the loving husband to Judith (Lentini) Johnson of Holliston for 32 years. In addition to his wife, he leaves two sons, Lucas and Benjamin both of Holliston, his sister, Kay Ann Anderson and her husband Keith of Wisconsin, aunts and uncles, Mary and Russ Johnson of Wisconsin, and Sid and Louise Johnson of Tennessee and his cousin, Kent Johnson of Utah. He was the beloved son-in-law to Margaret and Vito Lentini of Natick, brother-in-law to Ed and Sarah Lentini of Framingham, Joe and Judy Lentini of Plymouth, Jim and Julie Lentini of Ashland, and uncle to several nephews and nieces, all who will miss him greatly. Gordon was a 1972 graduate from Needham High School and a 1977 graduate from Northeastern University. He worked for 28 years at the Stride Rite Corporation reaching a career position as Treasurer and most recently held the position of Director of Treasury at DentaQuest. He was a active member of the Holliston Finance Committee for the past five years. In his leisure Gordon enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, military history, sports and model making. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 13, 2012 from 2-6p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Holliston. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Natick. Brian Cameron

Gordon or "Flash" (as his friends called him) was a great friend and fraternal brother.  He will be missed by all that knew him.
