Class of 1972 Gives Back

Needham High School Class of 1972 Gives Back

We have partnered with the Needham Community Council to raise funds for this hometown worthy cause as part of our 50th Reunion celebration. Taking the lead from other NHS class reunions, we would like to continue this tradition for our class, as well.

The Needham Community Council supports people in Needham who have under-met health, educational, or other needs and promotes volunteerism, community, and a sense of shared responsibility.

The Needham Community Council is a non-profit organization whose only sources of funding are contributions from individuals and local businesses. This funding underwrites a variety of services designed to meet the needs of our Needham residents, including:

  • Transportation
  • Food pantry
  • Medical equipment loan closet
  • Nursing home traveling store
  • Homemaker program
  • Clothes closet and flea market
  • Adult literacy program
  • Holiday outreach
  • Widowed to widowed program

We want all our friends to come to the reunion, but you don’t have to attend to donate.  All classmates and family members are welcome to give.   Be a part of giving back to where we grew up and help those Needhamites who depend on the Needham Community Council for their services.

Please use this direct link to the Needham Community Council donations page to contribute.   We ask that you enter Needham High School Class of 1972 in the “Comment” box on the donation page.

The Needham Community Council will periodically let us know how many classmates have donated and the tally-to-date.  We won’t know individual contributors’ names.  We will publish results as they come in on the website and make an announcement at the reunion.

Thank you for giving.
