FLYNN, Joseph Dorsey Lifelong resident of Needham, tragically on February 8, 2017. Beloved husband of Sheila (Clayman) Flynn. Devoted father of Jessica Murray and her husband Jesse of Natick, Stephanie Clason and her husband Matthew of CT, and Joe Flynn Jr. of Needham. Loving papa to Connor Clason and Cameron Murray. Brother of Genie Lynch of Winchester, F. Jay Flynn Jr. of Needham, Gerry Flynn of CO, and Greg Flynn of NY. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Longtime member of Charles River Country Club. Proud Insurance Broker for his entire career. 

Joe will always and forever be remembered as a loving family man. 

Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 1305 Highland Ave., NEEDHAM on Monday Feb. 13th at 9am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Bartholomew Church, Needham at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Sun. Feb. 12th from 2-6pm. Interment Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline.

Joe was such a great person. He will be missed. He had a big heart.

 A fun memory for me was Joe picking a few us up in the purple dunebuggy as he gave us a ride to school!!

joe and i went to the prom with our dates then after headed to the cape for cape weekend i was with the love of my life debbie craig  i played hockey with  joe  he was awesome! if you didnt like joe there was something wrong with you. at the time of his accident i had pnumonia and couldnt attend. but i drove by in a snow storm and said a quiet prayer for him. i will always remember him and the good times!
