Being a retired professor is just like being a regular professor
But you don't have to go to stupid faculty meetings.

Just earned a Distinguished Career award from the American Sociological Association section on the Sociology of Development.

Nice to get a Distinguished Career award the same year you retire.

Takes the sting out of it.

Now to work on the two books I have yet to write - plus that website.

Studying ultraviolent frontiers.

Lots of sex, drugs, hand to hand fighting and totally corrupt government officials.

Beats a Netflix drama any day of the week.

When I was back at NHS, I hadn't imagined Leo Goon would be rich. But heck a lot of Needham folks got rich. There were a lot of talented people in that high school.
