Joined the Army in April 72 and left for basic in August. Spent 3 years in the infantry in Germany . Came back and went to UMass Amherst. Graduated in 79. Was a steamship agent in the port of Boston after graduating. Obtained a commission in the US Coast Guard Reserve as an Ensign in 82, left as a Lieutenant Commander. Was on active duty with the USCG in Washington DC for 2 years and obtained a Masters in Public Admin at George Mason University in 88. Returned to Mass and was an attorney/research administrator for Tufts, MIT and BU. Was the Director for Research Administration at Tufts and the Associate Director at BU. Earned a law degree from NE Law Boston and have been practicing in MA and NH. Had 3 deployments with the Mass Army National Guard to Bosnia 96, Kosovo 2008 and Afghanistan 2011. Was awarded the Bronze Star and Combat Action Badge. Have 3 children and two grandsons. Currently not answering to anyone and doing what I want. Taking flying lessons and learning how to fly a Piper Cub.
