Mr. Narduci was an amazing man! He was my band director for all 3 years I played in band at Pollard Junior High School. He also pulled me in the NHS orchestra for a special saxophone contribution. He was passionate about music, talented, and a real leader. I count myself fortunate to have known him and I benefitted from his expertise. Rest in Peace, Mr. Narducci!

I concur with John in his praise of Bob Narducci. His commitment to his teaching was evident even to high school students, of which I was one. I recall a Saturday trip up to his Chris Craft motor yacht on Lake Winnipesaukee with some classmates for a day of water skiing and recreation. He shared his life easily with his “student” family. He spent countless hours on the annual school musicals and many of us were happy to help with equal enthusiasm. His influence skipped a generation but our eldest son (Olin) has followed in his footsteps as the Choral Director in the Portsmouth Middle and High School.

Rest well Bob, you earned it and we’ll always remember you.

My father (Fred Harris) hired Bob Narducci and remained a close friend of our family into both their retirements and after my father's passing. Along with being a superb musician and teacher Bob was a force of nature. You could not hold back his irrepressible joy and talent. As with my father he was the quintessential Leader of the Band. Rest in peace you magnificent Music Men! We'll keep the music and memories alive here.

I was so sad to hear of the recent passing of Mr. Narduci. My fondest memories of high school were being in musicals under his direction. I was also in choir and accompanied on the piano from time-to-time. His music theory classes were testimony to his passion for music and teaching and he inspired me to continue music theory in college. He was the most down-to-earth teacher that I had in four years at Needham High. He wore his heart on his sleeve and the compassion for music and his students. Rest in peace Mr. Narduci. I think of you often.
